Industry Leaders Celebrate the Senate Vote

Jim Nussle of America’s Credit Unions said the Senate preserved a lifeline for 142 million members. “Credit unions offer a path to financial freedom,” he said. “The Senate protected that.”

CTIA President Ajit Pai praised the bill’s 5G-focused measures: “This legislation protects national and economic security.”

Families and Workers Set to Benefit

Sean Kennedy of the National Restaurant Association highlighted how the bill ensures working capital stays in small businesses. The “No Tax on Tips” policy was especially welcomed by service workers.

Karen Kerrigan of the Small Business & Entrepreneurship Council called the bill “a powerful package that gives Main Street a real chance to grow.”
